In the warm summer of 2015, aged 16, I spent 6 weeks in New York City and Richmond, VA. Days and evenings I was wandering around town, taking pictures as I went, talking to locals and observing city life. The album that results from these explorations document a somewhat romanticised vision of the United States filtered through the European view, a foreign perspective on local reality and cityscapes.
