Jack Daniel’s - Natural Daydream

Tasked by good friends at Isobel, the Lost Boy collective set out to work on its first artist collaboration—with none other than Wesley Joseph, the London-based R&B songwriter, producer, and filmmaker.

The challenge was on: two separate tracks were requested—one slow and soulful hip-hop piece and another double-time drum and bass track, referencing the first. The collaboration proved seamless and joyous, made even more rewarding by getting approval of an artist of Wesley’s exquisite taste buds.

Guided by a playlist of references that resonated with both the artist and the team at Isobel, Alex Wesson carried much of the weight on instrumentation, while I was involved in mixing, mastering, and providing the drums for the drum and bass version of the campaign.
