Scholl - Heels of Love

A big strength of the team at Lost Boy is playfully incorporating a campaign message in the lyrics. This has proven to be a powerful tool on a number of briefs, because it allows the creative agencies to work a campaign fully around a custom piece of music - and make the humorous twist front and center of an ad. For this one, we created a range of 80s inspired demos, with sounds ranging from Sting to Van Halen, and "On the Heals of Love" ended up the final pick. I focussed on the drums and sound design for maximum 80s authenticity. Big credit to Alex Wesson for singing in the backing harmony to the vocals which settles the tune firmly in the time.
